Come join us for an immersive week of art making! We will be exploring a range of fine art and hand craft modalities, while learning about the principals and elements of art in the process.
Printmaking! Painting! Drawing! Calligraphy! Sewing and More!
All materials will be provided. Our week long session runs from 9-12, with an optional added hour for lunch.
Class is open to rising 3-6th graders, all experience levels welcome.
Summer Art Lab is held at Robert Down Elementary School in Pacific Grove, CA
Instructors Bree and Emilie are both teaching artists at Robert Down Elementary. They bring a wealth of experience, education and excitement to the classroom studio! Bree is a mixed media illustrator with a B.A. in Illustration and design, as well as training in Letterpress, Printmaking, Textile Design and early childhood education. Emilie is a textile artist and professional costume designer with over two decades of professional experience making fascinators, stage wear and exquisite special occasion items for a diverse array of clientele.
